KEN MOTEW
Co-Founder & Partner
Since co-founding The PEAK Companies in 1993, Ken Motew has led with a track record
of integrity and personal commitment. His financial dexterity and strong sense of
market trends, along with his unrivaled ability to assess new projects and provide
leadership from concept to completion, have resulted in the outstanding growth of
The PEAK Companies to over $300 million in total property values, and the management
of over 2500 residential units. Known for his win-win style of negotiation and hands-on
approach to maintaining relationships with lenders, investors, and brokers, Ken's
manner effortlessly blends accessibility with global management of the firm. He
oversees all financial management functions for The PEAK Companies, including corporate
budgeting and forecasting, cash management, and risk management.
Ken attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and received a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Accounting. He lives in Highland Park, Illinois with his wife,
Jill, and their five children.

MICHAEL ZUCKER
Co-Founder & Partner
Michael Zucker's unique vision and drive have led The PEAK Companies to be regarded
as Chicago's premier mid-sized real estate development and management firm. Since
co-founding the company in 1993, he has overseen the development of over $300 million
in total property values, and the management of over 2500 residential units. Mike
has earned a stellar reputation within the real estate and lending communities for
his unrelenting commitment to The PEAK Companies' core values of integrity and customer
service. He has further distinguished himself with his refined ability to assess
the feasibility of potential projects, keen sense of evolving market conditions,
and hands-on approach to new business development and investor relations.
Mike attended the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign in Champaign, IL where
he received a Bachelor of Arts degree. He lives in Highland Park, Illinois with
his wife, Franny, and their three children.

MICHAEL OBLOY
Partner & President of Development
Michael Obloy brings a decade of solid experience in the residential, commercial
and industrial construction industries. He has managed the development and construction
of over 400 residential units, 20 custom single family residences, and over 200,000
square feet of commercial property with a total property value which exceeds $200
million.
As President of Development for The PEAK Companies, Michael is charged with overseeing
and directing all activities related to project development. These include: analyzing
zoning and financial feasibility of projects, identifying and securing new business
opportunities, performing financial underwriting of new and existing developments,
developing and directing the overall budget process for each project, directing
public approval and entitlement process, structuring and negotiating project financing,
and coordinating with equity partners, legal counsel, and lenders.
Michael holds a degree in Business Management from DePaul University in Chicago,
Illinois, where he received recognition from the Department of Management for Outstanding
Achievement in Real Estate Management. He is an active member of the Home Builders
Association of Greater Chicago, where he sits on the regional board of directors
and is active in the Small Builder Roundtable Committee. He is also a member of
the Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association. Michael and his wife, Angela, live in
Chicago, Illinois.

GILES FLANAGIN
Partner & Vice President of Development
Giles Flanagin brings to the table a substantial background of real estate development,
having developed 242 condominiums, 10 single family homes, and 91,000 square feet
of industrial facilities with a total market value of over $175 million. Starting
as a Construction Project Manager for The PEAK Companies in 2003, Giles reorganized
the firm's infrastructure to accommodate an increase in construction revenue from
$3 million to over $10 million annually, as well as developed and implemented an
enhanced customer service program. He is now responsible for the strategic planning
and management of residential, commercial and industrial projects.
Giles' responsibilities include: assessing project feasibility, project budgeting,
value engineering, logistics planning, and assuming a leadership role throughout
the development process. He spearheaded The PEAK Companies' movement toward implementing
sustainable development and construction philosophies. As a LEED® Accredited Professional,
Flanagin is able to help clients navigate the LEED certification process, and educate
them as to available financial incentives and mortgage programs.
Giles holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration/Finance from Northern
Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. He sits on the local board of directors
for the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago, and is an active member of
the United States Green Building Council and the Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association.
He currently resides in Chicago, Illinois.
